Hello doctors!

Maybe you are the kind of dentist obstinately looking for excellence and extraordinary quality in the dental service for your patients. Maybe you belong to that narrow percentage of professionals that strive to go way beyond the average in the learning curve. And perhaps you have already realized that, in this insistent quest towards becoming proficient as a dental surgeon, there is no substitute for hands on experience and close mentorship. If that is so, you may be ready to engage in a most exciting didactic and clinical training that will dramatically increase your expertise in Oral Implantology.

Let me tell you about a Comprehensive Training Program on Oral Rehabilitation and Implant Dentistry. This is a ten months training on Implant Dentistry in which lectures, laboratory exercises, surgical demonstrations and supervised hands on surgical sessions are used to develop skills needed for the different surgical procedures. I won't bore you with the objectives or the topics included, since all the information is already in the promo materials. I want to tell you what my experience as the coordinator of the Course has been.

I have known Dr. Hilt Tatum for seventeen years and I have known Dr. José Pedroza for twice that time. I have seen them work together. I have seen them teach other doctors. Patiently. Developing a personal relationship with each student. Knowing what they need to learn. Being generous as they teach and mentor. I have seen them immersed in what has become (or it seems to me) their mission: to truly pass on their knowledge and experience in Implant Dentistry. They don't work with crowds. They work with you. They are flexible. They accommodate lectures and surgical procedures according to what is needed. I have seen them happy and satisfied after an intense session, eating four or five pieces of pizza on a long table in the Conference Room of Dr. Pedroza's Clinic. And I have heard the compliments of the patients and the WOWs!!! of the students.

You may want to speak personally to Dr. Pedroza or Dr.Tatum. Or you may want the students of the current course to share their experience with you. It is a different perspective than mine, of course, and I think it will help you decide if this opportunity is for you, now. I also want to keep an open communication with you all, in case you have particular concerns regarding the Course. I'll be more than happy to help.
